Customer Identification for Flood Risk Assessment Tool
MEEO and SatCen provide a flood risk and impact assessment tool: FRIEND. They are interested in identifying more customers for the FRIEND platform within the emergency management and humanitarian aid sector.
Solution:Evenflow started with a quantitative global flood risk assessment, prioritising five critical regions. For each region, flood relief efforts were synthesised, and relevant NGO leads identified, specifically highlighting NGOs working on emergency preparedness, flood-prevention, and relief. For each region, relevant governmental departments were furthermore listed and pertinent policies/government initiatives described. The final recommendations listed the most promising leads and government departments to approach.
